Qualifications: Sports Coaching Degree, UEFA B Licence coach, and is currently studying youth module 3.
Steve is a former professional footballer for Huddersfield Town. He is super passionate about how coaching can positively impact the children we work with and always makes his sessions a lot of fun. Steve is a highly respected member of the junior academy coaching team at Manchester city academy, He is also part of the Talent ID team.
Qualifications: FA Level 2 coach and Fa Youth Module 3 and currently completing FA youth award.
The energy Coach Connor brings to each session is unbelievable. You will be tired just watching him! Sure to be a favourite of the children, Coach Connor makes his sessions fun and really takes pride in the development of the children, not only in terms of football, but listening skills and improving their confidence. Connor has had 5 years’ experience working with elite players at Manchester City Academy working with players aged 3-7. Full time Connor works in primary schools as a sports coach and has over 3 Years’ experience in a school.
Qualifications: F.A Level 2 coach.
Coach Sam brings a real genuine care for every child he works with and as parents you will see this straight away. Energetic fun sessions are the name of the game with Coach Sam and your little ones will be in for a treat.
Sam has enjoyed a fantastic playing career, representing Manchester Utd, Leeds Utd, Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers. Sam went on to sign a 2 year scholarship with Sheffield Wednesday. Sam has gained a lot of coaching experience working for Huddersfield Town Football in the Community coaching in local schools and this led him to founding his own sports coaching business SM Sports, and becoming a Coach and Scout for Manchester City Academy involved in the development of young players.
Qualifications: FA level 2 coach.
Coach George is the biggest kid of us all and uses all of his playing knowledge to really find ways to get through to the little ones and get them engaged in his sessions – the results we have seen have been fantastic!
George has had the experience of receiving top level coaching throughout his career having played for Huddersfield Town from the age of 7 and signed a pro contract at the age of 18. George has also had the opportunity to represent his country Scotland at U16 level. From the age of 19 George then went onto play in the conference. Now George is full-time as a Head of Foundation phase Coach and an Academy coach at Manchester City.
